Gypsum autoclaves

Curing under steam atmosphere is a key process for the production of α-hemihydrate from raw gypsum stone. The α-hemihydrate is used to produce moulding plasters, gypsum building materials and special plasters with outstanding properties. Characteristics here are the high compressive and tensile strength, which can still be influenced by optimised process control in the gypsum hardening vessels.

A Maschinenbau Scholz gypsum autoclave is designed with a patented Scholz quick closing door for the fast loading and unloading as well as with a folding mechanism. This is adapted to individual requirements and manufactured according to the latest state of the art. This means that the diameter is optimally selected according to the desired stacking pattern of the plaster blank. The length of an autoclave is optimised in accordance with the used infeed trolleys and is up to 50,000 mm cylindrical length.

Autoclaves from Maschinenbau Scholz are also ideally suited for the production of sand-lime bricks, aerated concrete, fibre materials, concrete elements and similar products. Furthermore, our range of services includes the design of additional components such as condensate systems and steam distributors.
