Autoclaves

Autoclaves for curing aerated concrete

Curing under a steam atmosphere is a key process in the production of aerated concrete. Curing the brick blanks in a steam atmosphere in a SCHOLZ autoclave gives the building materials their excellent material properties. Autoclaves from Scholz prove themselves in the production of lightweight concrete and always guarantee the highest level of efficiency and quality. In order to maintain the final strength of sand-lime bricks as well as aerated concrete (AAC), a fixed steam pressure is maintained for a defined period.

A SCHOLZ curing autoclave is designed with a patented SCHOLZ quick closing door for fast loading and unloading as well as with a folding mechanism. The curing autoclave is adapted to the individual requirements and manufactured according to the latest state of the art. This means that the diameter is optimally selected according to the desired stack pattern of the stone blanks. The length of an autoclave is optimised according to the used feeding cart and has cylindrical length of up to 50,000mm.

Autoclaves from SCHOLZ are also ideally suited for the production of gypsum, fibre materials, concrete elements and similar products. Furthermore, our range of services includes the design of additional components such as condensate systems, run-in carriages or even steam distributors.

Numerous factors such as e.g. steam supply, energy-saving transition, expansion and condensate drainage must be precisely taken into account during planning. Our team of consultants will be glad to assist you! We have all the necessary calculation programmes to determine reliably the amount of steam per batch.
