A look behind the scenes
On 11 March 2026, Maschinenbau Scholz GmbH & Co. KG in Coesfeld welcomed the DVS Münsterland Regional Association for a factory tour. The aim of the visit was to gain practical insights into modern production processes and innovative welding and manufacturing technologies – whilst also strengthening professional dialogue between industry and the association.
A warm welcome to Coesfeld
The participants were welcomed on site by welding engineers Christian Reehuis and Sebastian Terwei. Right from the start, it became clear just how important face-to-face meetings and direct dialogue are at SCHOLZ. In a brief introduction, they presented the company, its history and its technological focus.
Insights into vertical integration
During the factory tour, guests were given a comprehensive insight into the entire value chain – from design and manufacturing through to final assembly. This high degree of vertical integration is a key factor in SCHOLZ’s success and enables maximum control over quality and processes.
In the spacious production halls, visitors were able to experience state-of-the-art large-scale welding systems and sophisticated testing technologies at close quarters. It became clear just how crucial precision, experience and technical innovation are in plant engineering.
Uncompromising quality
At SCHOLZ, there is a particular focus on quality assurance and process stability. Rigorous testing procedures and certifications to international standards ensure the high reliability and safety of the manufactured systems. These requirements are essential, particularly in the field of pressure vessel construction – and are consistently met at SCHOLZ.
Exchange on equal terms
In addition to the technical insights, the excursion provided, above all, an opportunity for professional exchange. Questions, discussions and conversations between the DVS members and the SCHOLZ experts turned the event into a lively platform for knowledge transfer.

Thank you
The visit by the DVS Münsterland Regional Association was a resounding success for everyone involved. It demonstrated just how important dialogue between professional associations and industry is for the further development of modern manufacturing technologies.
SCHOLZ would like to extend its sincere thanks to all participants for their keen interest and looks forward to future meetings and collaborations.
