A special milestone
On 30 October 2025, the DVS Münsterland District Association celebrated its 75th anniversary in the stylish surroundings of the GOP Varieté Münster. Around 100 guests – members and their partners – accepted the invitation and enjoyed a festive event with a welcome speech, honours, dinner and an entertainment programme. The speeches made it clear what a prominent role the association plays in the fields of economics, technology, education and, in particular, welding and joining technology.
With around 400 members, the DVS Münsterland Regional Association is one of the largest of its kind in Germany.
Why we are involved – and why it is important

Professional training and know-how through more than 500 seminars, excursions and company tours over the last few decades – a solid knowledge and network base.
Active promotion of young talent, e.g. through the ‘Jugend Schweißt’ competition, where young talents can demonstrate their welding skills.
Regional community of experts from trade, industry, technology and science – which fits in perfectly with our philosophy.
With pride for generations
Since our foundation, it has been clear to us at Maschinenbau Scholz that quality, responsibility and partnership are the cornerstones of our business activities. That is why we are all the more delighted to have been a member of the DVS Münsterland district association since our first year – and that our membership has now celebrated a very special anniversary.
Focus on the future
The anniversary was not only a review, but also a look ahead: after the official part of the dinner and the variety show, there was a lively professional exchange between the participants – strong evidence that the association is alive and well.
For us at Maschinenbau Scholz, this means that we remain committed, help shape the future and focus on technology, training and partnership. We look forward to continuing to shape the coming decades together with the DVS Münsterland district association.
